The bar is a very scary place inhabited by Witches, Ghosts and Monsters and that's just the locals. The real ghouls, spectres and demons arrive by broomstick, fog or on foot from the numerous haunted places of Clitheroe.

Whatever your party mood or occasion there are fun times to be had at the Black Horse. Karaoke is optional and is a great way of adding atmosphere and laughter to your party.

The Black Horse ladies meeting up before starting out for a day at the races. There are several popular Horse Racing circuits not very far away from Pimlico Village and a short coach journey will see them where the action is. A champagne breakfast followed by the racing and a dinner on the way home is the perfect recipe for a fabulous day out.

Christmas and New Years Eve Party

The party atmosphere is terrific at the Black Horse over the festive season.

A superb Christmas tree with all the trimmings, lights and baubles fills a corner of the bar. Further setting the festive scene is the tasteful decorations throughout the pub inside and out. This makes for a memorable holiday season.

The food is superb, the beer is wonderful, Moorhouse's - 'Black Horse Special' and 'Pride of Pendle' takes centre stage along with many other differing brews, all tastes are catered for.
