The Black Horse Inn, Pimlico Village, is situated on the rural outskirts of Clitheroe and located in the heart of the Ribble Valley, dates back to the late 18th Century.

The Black Horse Inn has new proprietors, Carl and Janet, formerly of the Tillotsons Arms, Chipping. They moved to the Black Horse in June 2007.

The Black Horse Inn is a Free House, small yet unique, and has a splendid selection of homemade food plus traditional and local ales for you to enjoy. A friendly family run pub and restaurant.

Janet says 'Our food has gone from strength to strength since moving into the Black Horse and our menu is wholesome, substantial and varied'.

Come visit us and try our famous Fish and Chips or our Steak Sizzlers, we will not be beaten for quality or quantity. Try cosy candlelit dining in a wonderful comfortable family friendly atmosphere, you will not be disappointed.

Check out the Sweets, Specials and Fresh Fish blackboards – the blackboards are updated regularly, the choice of dishes available is breathtaking and will not disappoint, there is something for everybody.

At the rear of the Black Horse Inn there is an enclosed beer garden and a large field which can be used with a Marquee, if required, for private party functions, corporate events, charity events and weddings. Please speak to Carl or Janet for booking arrangements.

There are two main rooms served by a central bar, the Lounge Bar, which includes a dining area, and the Saloon Bar which provides for a range of indoor pub sports such as pool, darts, dominoes, etc. Sunday football day from noon to 8.00pm in the Saloon Bar.

In the summer months look out for events on the notice board and website such as barbeques, local rock bands performing and party’s.

An Irish Band made up of local characters entertain every other Sunday from 2pm to 5pm – good folk music and if you would like to join in you are more than welcome. What better way to spend a Sunday, a superb lunch followed by quality entertainment?
